2014 Christmas in July
Major Oak Restuarant

Oh what a night that was for Echidnas members and friends. I didn't hear a word of displeasure it was all very positive many asking "When Is The Next One" well hopefully at our next Echidnas meeting we can turn it into an annual event. My table of 24 sure as hell would agree to that, next time we WILL increase our numbers, a longer tabe Bobby?

The Show was first class, a great band fantastic entertainment, also some impromptu performances from our own Morgan Kent, Peter Dean, Brett Thomas and a visit from the beyond by Frank Sinatra, (Larry Stiller).

The food was also excellent, I must pay tribute to the wonderful staff and the way in which our meal was served with such a crowd and we were served quickly and professionally, well done to all.

Free drinks from 7.30 to 11.00pm. The bar service was also tops with two quays patiently waiting to be served, I was in the near quay however there were more in the far quay but really didn't have to wait too long.

The quality of the pictures below leave a lot to be desired as without a flash they are not first class however I feel sure you won't mind too much.

Now for the photos, oh by the way when the next one comes up don't miss it.

On behalf of the Echidnas members and their family and friends we thank very much Bobby and Mary Bradford & their staff for a great Christmas in July, a very special evening.

I can not wait until tomorrow to thank Bro. Noel.
Thank you very much for organizing this night out for the Disciples.
The comedy show was excellent. The food and drinks were excellent too. The Disco was the best of the best.
Maraming salamat po. Goodnight.
Bro. Mon Gaspi
Thanks so much Noel for the great night. It was fun and we enjoyed every minute of it. Let's do it again!

Bobby and Mary and the GREATS At the MAJOR OAK. Thank you.
Being there on Saturday night took me back to how entertainment used to be in the nightclubs of the past. I can’t ever remember laughing as much as I did.
Bobby, truly a great show. You are a magnificent showman and the young uns, simply superb:
“I’ll BE BACK”.
Frank McQuade
For a great night of fun and laughter most entertaining night with great food as well, thanks for all your efforts.
Dennis Mawson.
A night out for all tastes! Bobby Bradford is the hardest working showman I have ever seen. His energy is colossal and his mind quick.
The repartee with random customers keeps the laughter flowing between acts. Diversified sums up the entire night, ably assisted by a selection of ant-eaters.
His recipe is to keep the tempo and noise at fever pitch and non repetitious.
The value for money will keep that place full for years, as history already shows. (Don't tell anyone what we paid.)
I take my hat off to his enterprise. Well worth the hour plus each way travelling.
Doug McLaughlin
Bobby and Mary put on a great night for everyone. They are generous with their comedy talents and generous with their hospitality.
The comedy and the music were first rate! It was my wife Debra’s first night out since the death of her lovely mother, Rosa, three weeks’ ago. She was laughing at the show, and then crying to think how much her Mum would have liked it!
Thank you so much. We all owe you big time.
Rodney Marks
I have already thanked Bobby Bradford for a wonderful evening. It was good to see so many Echidnas there with their wives/partners.
The 'surprise' guests were a revelation.
Let's do it again.
Bill Scott
